Summer Search for the Perfect Park - Day 1

Today was Ben's first official day of his whopping 3 week long Summer Break.  So our search for the perfect park has begun.  We've got a different park scheduled on the calendar every day (Monday-Friday) during his break and we're trying our best to find the coolest, greatest "perfect" playground during that time.  Today we went to Flat Iron Mesa park in Sandy.  The playground itself wasn't anything too special.... but the grassy rolling hill??? Unlike anything the boys had ever seen!  It was so long it took forever to get down it and even longer to walk back up.  Ben made it up and down the hill just four times (and made himself sick on the last trip down.  He actually almost puked in the van on the way home.)  Brady only made it up and down 1-1/2 times.  He seemed to think somersaults were easier than barrel rolls.  They did have a really fun time.  Toby loved being outside.  He did NOT love the playground equipment though.  Especially when I told Ben to go ahead and let Toby go down the tube slide on his own so I could snap a picture.  The look of terror on his face in the slide was nothing compared to the look of "How dare you Mommy!!!" after I scooped him up, face covered in woodchips, after he nosedived off the end of the tube slide, face first into the ground.  Bad mommy.  Bad, bad mommy.
So anyway, fun park in general.  Decent playground, AWESOME grassy hill, drinking fountains, shady climbing trees.  A fun start to our search!
